During this 45-60 minute videoconference, your students will dive into the bee-utiful world of bees. Students will begin the e-Lab by learning the basics of bees, what we like to call “Beekeeping 101.” A Lab Director from the Challenger Learning Center will connect to your classroom dressed as a beekeeper. We will work with your students to discuss the parts of a bee, the different types of bees, and what it is like to be a beekeeper. After the basics have been discussed, the students will explore how bees help each other (teamwork), how bees help nature (pollination), and how bees are beneficial to humans. By the conclusion of the e-Lab your students will be “buzzing” with excitement about bees! Bee Amazed Lesson Plans **Please complete lesson plans that correlate to your grade level**
